MCOT Hosts Memorial Ceremony for Princess Bajrakitiyabha

Bangkok: MCOT Public Company Limited held a ceremony to express gratitude and mourn the passing of Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha Narendira Debyavadi, Krom Luang Rajasarinisiripatchara Mahavajrarajathida. Dr. Yada Kasayapanan, Acting President and CEO of MCOT, presided over the ceremony and delivered a speech expressing gratitude before Her Royal Highness's portrait. Executives, staff, news presenters, and employees of MCOT also participated, including observing a moment of silence and signing a book of condolences.

According to Thai News Agency, Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha Narendira Debyavadi, Krom Luang Rajasarinisiripatchara Mahavajrarajathida, is filled with compassion and kindness. She has dedicated her body, intellect, and diligent effort to numerous royal duties, particularly in the fields of law, the development of the justice system, and improving the quality of life for the people. She has played a significant role in the United Nations, leading to the establishment of the United Nations Rules on the Treatment of Women Prisoners and Non-Custodial Measures for Female Offenders, also known as the Bangkok Rules.
