Riyadh: The Minister of Commerce, Ms. Suphajee Suthumpun, spearheaded a visit to the Thai Food Village, promoting Thai cuisine to the Saudi market during the country’s largest food festival. This initiative aimed to create opportunities for Thai entrepreneurs to enter the Middle Eastern market.

According to Thai News Agency, Ms. Suphajee led a group of executives to the Saudi Feast Food Festival 2025 in Riyadh, where Thailand was recognized as the country of honor. The event highlighted the potential of Thai food products, including fruits, ready-to-eat items, and popular dishes, which have garnered significant interest from Saudi Arabian consumers. This participation marks a crucial opportunity to expand the Thai food market into the Middle East.

During the event, Ms. Suphajee engaged with entrepreneurs to understand their challenges and stressed support for trade, imports, exports, and overcoming various restrictions to boost competitiveness.
