Minister of Education Calls for Nationwide Promotion of ODOS Scholarship, Batch 2

Bangkok: The Minister of Education is urging schools nationwide to publicize the "ODOS Scholarship, Batch 2," opening doors to the global stage. Mr. Prasert Chantarawong, the Minister of Education, highlighted the importance of accelerating the promotion of this program during a meeting with senior executives of the Ministry of Education. He emphasized that applications are now open for the second cohort of the ODOS scholarship program for the year 2026 and urged all relevant agencies to disseminate this crucial information.

According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Prasert stressed that the ODOS scholarship program offers a significant opportunity for Thai youth, particularly high school and vocational students, to access international education. The program is designed to align with the country's future needs, allowing students to pursue studies in vital fields. The Minister emphasized the importance of communicating the availability of the scholarship effectively, as it represents a right for all Thai students to access world-class education and experiences.

Mr. Prasert also instructed affiliated agencies to boost awareness campaigns through various channels, ensuring that information reaches students nationwide, especially in remote areas. The aim is to increase participation in the project and ensure all students have equal access to this opportunity.

Applications for the ODOS scholarship program's second phase are open from May 29th to June 15th, 2026, via the website odos.ocsc.go.th. The program offers scholarship recipients the chance to pursue vocational diplomas and bachelor's degrees abroad in fields critical to the country's development, such as digital technology, artificial intelligence, and healthcare.

Mr. Prasert urged, "Don't let good opportunities pass you by simply because you haven't been informed. We must work together to ensure that information reaches all students equally."
