Bangkok: Tao Yong, the Molam singer widely recognized as Tao Yong Rabiep Wathasilp, is grappling with back pain due to his vigorous hip movements and is concerned about the possibility of developing a herniated disc. Despite these health challenges, Tao's professional commitments remain intense, with his schedule fully booked until 2029.
According to Thai News Agency, Tao Yong's demanding itinerary includes filming movies, participating in series, and attending numerous television appearances, leaving him with minimal time for rest. He disclosed that he barely manages an hour of sleep a day due to consecutive engagements, often having to sleep backstage and quickly prepare for his next performance. This relentless pace has taken a toll on his health, causing grogginess during shows and a fear of collapsing on stage, a fate some of his fellow band members have experienced.
Tao Yong candidly shared that his iconic hip-shaking dance moves have led to occasional back pain, sometimes so severe that he struggles to bend over. Despite these issues, he has refrained from seeking medical attention, opting instead for medication and ointments to manage the pain. The singer is mindful of his father's history with a herniated disc and is determined to prevent his condition from worsening. Consequently, he exercises caution by moderating his dance intensity when necessary.
In addition to his ongoing performances, Tao Yong is preparing for his inaugural fan meeting, "Taoyong Universe," slated for April 25th at Siam Paragon. He expressed excitement and a touch of apprehension about the event, as it marks his first opportunity to meet fans in person. To ensure a memorable experience, he has been diligently practicing his speaking skills and rehearsing surprise performances, hoping for strong support from his audience.
