The event, titled 'Muang Thai Smile Trip: Travel, Eat, Enjoy, and Seek Blessings @ Rayong-Chanthaburi,' aimed to integrate nature tourism, local culinary experiences, and cultural enrichment into one comprehensive and enjoyable journey.
According to Thai News Agency, the 'Muang Thai Smile Trip' is a unique opportunity provided by the Muang Thai Smile Club to foster happiness through quality travel experiences. Participants were treated to a variety of activities, such as visiting a large temperate flower farm at the Lertphananurak Center in Rayong and exploring the Thung Prong Thong mangrove forest in Pak Nam Prasae. The culinary aspect of the trip featured signature dishes from Rayong and Chanthaburi, including local cuisine, seafood, and street food.
In Chanthaburi, the itinerary included visits to significant historical sites such as the King Taksin Shrine and Wat Mangkon Buppharam (Leng Hua Yi). Participants also had the chance to explore the Chanthaburi riverside community and visit the Immaculate Conception Cathedral.
