Muay Thai boxers train hard, ready to compete in the 2024 Paris Games

France, The Thai national boxing team competing in the 'Paris 2024' Olympics has been training intensively in the final stretch in France, ready to compete in two categories on July 27. Movement of the Thai national boxing team competing in the "Paris 2024" Olympics, which is training in Nancy, France, is still training intensively in the final stretch. Lt. Surit Yingkamhaeng, head coach of the men's boxing team, revealed that previously, Thai male boxers competed with boxers from many countries, including Cubans, Spanish, and Bulgarians. Most recently, in the men's 51 kg category, Thitisan Panmode sparred with Bilal Bennama, a boxer from the host country of France, a silver medalist at the 2023 World Championship, who is a favorite in this category. He did well, but needs to improve his punching speed and punch combinations, as well as his defense and dodging of punches. He believes that everything will be fixed in 10 days. The overall team preparation is considered very ready because they traveled to th e training camp in advance. There are physical therapists and nutritionists with the team, which is the policy of the Boxing Association of Thailand. It creates good morale for the athletes. I would like to ask Thai boxing fans to send their support to the tank top warriors in this Olympic Games. For Thai boxers, there are 8 quotas: 3 male boxers: Thitisan Panmode (51 kg.), Banjong Sinsiri (63.5 kg.), and Wiraphon Jongjohor (80 kg.), and 5 female boxers: Chuthamas Raksat (50 kg. female), Chuthamas Jitpong (54 kg. female), Thananya Somnuk (60 kg. female), Chanchaem Suwanpheng (66 kg. female), and Baison Maneekorn (75 kg. female). The first day of the program on July 27th will feature two fighters: Banjong Sinsiri, 63.5 kg men's division, and Wiraphon Jongjohor, 80 kg men's division. Source: Thai News Agency
