NACC Expresses Condolences Over Director’s Involvement in Fatal Accident

Bangkok: The National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) has issued a statement expressing its condolences following the involvement of its Director of the Investigation Division in a tragic car accident that resulted in the death of a delivery rider. The incident, which occurred at approximately 11:00 PM at the Bang Rak Noi interchange on Ratchaphruek Road in Nonthaburi Province, has prompted a response from the NACC, acknowledging the impact on the victim's family and society.

According to Thai News Agency, the NACC's statement emphasized that the actions of the Director were in accordance with the law and that no special privileges will be granted. The Commission has pledged full cooperation with relevant agencies to ensure that all legal procedures are followed meticulously. Additionally, the NACC has expressed deep regret over the incident and extended its condolences to the family, relatives, and friends of the deceased delivery rider.

The NACC further clarified that the individual involved is a civil servant within the organization, currently holding the position of Director of the Media and Special Affairs Division, and not the Deputy Spokesperson as previously reported.
