Bueng kan: Tourists are flocking to the newly highlighted attraction, the "Naga's Eye," situated on the Phu Langka rock plateau in Bueng Kan province. This remarkable site has become an essential stop for visitors to the Naga Cave, especially recommended for visits between June and October.
According to Thai News Agency, the "Naga's Eye," also known as the Sacred Well or the Navel of Phu Langka, is a natural rock formation that has gained significant online attention. Located near Na Kha Cave, the formation resembles an eye when filled with water during the rainy season, earning its name from tourists.
The phenomenon is part of the Naga Cave trail, which stretches 1.2 kilometers. An additional 300-meter path from the main cave leads visitors to the formations that mimic eyebrows and eyes. When the pool is filled and photographed from a wide angle without any visitors in the frame, it mirrors the appearance of an eye. On sunny days, sunlight reflecting off the water surface creates a shimmering effect that closely resembles a gleaming eye.
Mr. Surak Laemchanthuk, who manages the "Here at Bueng Khong Long" Facebook page and serves as a tour guide, noted that a post featuring the site was published in early August. He often guides visitors to Na Kha Cave and was surprised by the overwhelming response the image received online. He continues to encourage tourists to experience the unique beauty of the "Naga's Eye" between June and October each year.
