Bangkok: "Natthapong" is spearheading a team of Bangkok City Council members on a campaign caravan traversing the northern districts of Bangkok, urging residents across all 50 districts to support the orange-colored candidates and provide them an opportunity to contribute to the enhancement of the Bangkok City Council.

According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Nattapong Ruangpanyawut, who leads the People's Party, is joined by Mr. Karunpol Thiansuwan, the deputy spokesperson, Ms. Sasinan Thammanitthinan, MP for Bangkok Constituency 11, Mr. Phuriwat Chaisamran, MP for Bangkok Constituency 12, and various People's Party candidates for the Bangkok City Council. This group is embarking on the 'Northern Bangkok Caravan' as part of their final push to galvanize Bangkok residents to participate in the upcoming elections for the Bangkok Governor and City Council, scheduled for Sunday, June 28th. The People's Party is backing Mr. Chaiwat Sathavorawichit as their gubernatorial candidate, listed as number 1, and has fielded candidates for each of the 50 City Council districts in Bangkok.

The caravan commenced its journey in the evening from Sai Mai district, with an initial stop at Wat Ko Market for a brief rally. The procession then moved to Lak Si district, eventually concluding the day's journey at Keha Thung Song Hong. The campaign trail witnessed a vibrant atmosphere, with residents showing support, taking photographs, and offering encouragement to the candidates.

In his address to the gathered crowd, Mr. Nattapong emphasized the need for change in the upcoming election, urging the electorate to choose leaders who can instigate meaningful transformations. He encouraged voters to elect City Councilors who can provide robust oversight akin to the People's Party MPs in parliament, specifically mentioning figures like Ms. Rakchanok Srinok and Mr. Rangsiman Rome as examples. Mr. Nattapong clarified that voters should use the green ballot for the governor (number 10) and the pink ballot for People's Party City Council candidates in their districts. He concluded with a rallying cry, "Let's make Bangkok orange!"
