Nonthaburi:A unique decoration theme at 1995 Barbershop in Nonthaburi has created a stir among locals, as its fire-themed setup has led some passersby to mistakenly believe the shop was ablaze.
According to Thai News Agency, the barbershop, located next to Sai Noi School in Sai Noi Subdistrict, Sai Noi District, has drawn attention for its elaborate decorations inspired by the horror film "Constantine." A 14-year-old boy, dressed as a firefighter, stands outside the shop, adding to the realism and inadvertently causing some confusion among those passing by.
Shop owner Mr. Surasak Sornsri, aged 31, explained that the decorations are a regular part of the shop's seasonal themes. This year’s setup includes sheer white fabric fluttering in the windows, illuminated by UV mosquito repellent lights to mimic flames, and dry ice vapor to simulate smoke. Despite the creativity, the shop has not seen a significant increase in customer numbers.
The shop owner expressed apologies to anyone who mistook the decorations for a real fire, emphasizing that the intention was to entertain the local community rather than cause alarm.
