Banyuwangi: "Ohm" Phutthaphum Nakpaen clinched the gold medal in the men's under-23 category at the Banyuwangi Supercross C1 international BMX cycling competition in Indonesia on June 28, 2026. In the men's senior category, "Ae" Sergeant Gomet Sukprasert overcame a challenging start and a block from a local rider to secure the silver medal.

According to Thai News Agency, the Thai national cycling team concluded the two-day event with a total of 2 gold medals, 5 silver medals, and 1 bronze medal. The team sees this performance as a promising preparation for the upcoming 20th Asian Games scheduled for the end of September.

In a related event, during the fourth round of the Thai National Track Cycling Championships, Apisara Srimongkol from Team Prime19 demonstrated exceptional performance. The cyclist, who is gearing up for the Asian Games, claimed a remarkable 8 gold medals, marking a significant achievement at this stage of the competition.
