Bangkok: Pinky Savika's mother and brother regained their freedom after the court acquitted them in the Forex-3D case. The daughter hugged them, saying, "I miss you every day."
According to Thai News Agency, the atmosphere around the Criminal Court on Ratchadaphisek Road was filled with joy and tears of embraces as Ms. Sarinya Chaiyadej, or "Mae Aoy," the mother of famous actress "Pinky-Savika Chaiyadej," was officially released from the Central Women's Correctional Institution following the Criminal Court's acquittal in her Forex-3D pyramid scheme case.
Mae Aoy, with a beaming smile and tears of gratitude, opened up, saying that the first thing she planned to do upon returning home was to pray and thank God for the justice he had served. After that, she would return to work hard to earn a living as best she could, as she is now elderly. She reiterated that she was merely an investor and not involved in the management. Although her daughter wasn't there to greet her, she understood that she might have been busy with work. She said that when she had the opportunity to meet her daughter at lunchtime, they hugged, and her daughter told her, "I miss you every day." Regarding the previous negative comments about her and her family, she said she wasn't bothered, as she cannot control what others think. Also on the same day, the Chaiyadech family arrived to welcome Mr. Sarayuth or Kitticheth Chaiyadech, Pinky's older brother, who was another defendant in the same case but was acquitted by the court.
Pinky's brother was released from Bangkok Special Prison at 11:15 PM (August 13). He told the media that he has always been confident of his innocence and that he was merely an investor. He thanked the court for its justice and acknowledged that the four years of imprisonment were a long time and a valuable experience, as all investments carry inherent risks. Regarding potential countersuits, he said that would be a matter for the future and that he wants to return to his family first.
