Nakhon Phanom: Police intercept a gang of illegal foreign workers entering the country illegally, and are urgently expanding the investigation to arrest the masterminds: Last night (9 Nov 2014), Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) police led a force in driving to follow a Toyota Sport Rider with Songkhla registration from Songkhla Province and began the raid on the new road between Pattani and Narathiwat Provinces. According to Thai News Agency, an inspection found 15 Bangladeshi workers crammed into the vehicle and no legal documents were found. Both the workers and Mr. Isma-ae, 43, a Pattani resident, the driver, were taken in for further questioning. Mr. Isma-ae stated that he was hired to transport the workers from Khuan Lang Subdistrict, Hat Yai District, to Waeng District, Narathiwat Province, to illegally cross the border into Malaysia. The police are urgently expanding the investigation to arrest the mastermind and bring them to justice soon.
