Police Raid Multiple Residences of Boom Panadda in Ramintra Area

Bangkok:Police raided the home of Boom Panadda in the Ramintra area, marking the first search of the location of her foundation. The Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) conducted the operation early in the morning at another residence belonging to Boom Panadda in the same area.

According to Thai News Agency, the raid took place at 700 AM in Ramintra 23, Anusawari Subdistrict, Bang Khen District. The operation was led by Police Lieutenant Colonel Pakin Kraikittichan, Deputy Commander of the Economic Crime Suppression Division 4. Upon arrival, officers were met by a housekeeper who opened the door, allowing them to present a search warrant and request permission to search the premises.

Boom Panadda's eldest daughter was present to receive the search warrant and cooperated fully with the authorities, leading them through the search. Approximately 10 minutes into the search, two lawyers arrived to witness the proceedings. The investigation focused on collecting evidence related to the Organization for Doing Good Foundation, which Boom Panadda started in 2014 and officially registered in 2022.

The authorities' interest in the foundation appears linked to potential legal actions against Boom Panadda and her husband. The foundation's initial location was her residence at Ramintra 23, where a room is marked with the foundation's name.

At 845 AM, further developments saw the front gate of Ms. Panadda Wongphudee's home opened once more. Lawyers moved vehicles within the property, and CIB officers emerged, refusing to disclose any findings when approached by reporters. Speculation suggests the officers were preparing to transport evidence back to the CIB for further examination.

The situation remains under close watch by various media outlets stationed outside the residence.
