Bangkok: The Prime Minister praised, tasted, and shopped at the OTOP Midyear 2026 event, encouraging the use of the "Thai Helps Thai Plus" campaign. The Prime Minister and his wife visited the OTOP Midyear 2026 fair, encouraging the use of Thai products and supporting the grassroots economy through the "Thai Helps Thai Plus" initiative.
According to Thai News Agency, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul, accompanied by his wife, Mrs. Thanon Charnvirakul, visited the OTOP Midyear 2026 exhibition at Challenger Hall 1-3, IMPACT Muang Thong Thani, Nonthaburi Province. They were welcomed by Mr. Arsit Sampanrat, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Interior, Mr. Siam Sirimongkol, Director-General of the Department of Community Development, and other executives.
On this occasion, the Prime Minister and his wife visited OTOP booths from all 77 provinces across the country, offering encouragement to producers and entrepreneurs. They also toured highlight zones including OTOP Premium, OTOP Craft and Beverage Hub, and the "Thai Fabrics for Fun" zone, which reflect the potential of Thai wisdom in the modern market.
In addition, the Prime Minister sampled food at the OTOP tasting zone and even made papaya salad for the public in a friendly manner. He encouraged the public to support OTOP products and utilize the "Thai Helps Thai Plus" scheme to support community entrepreneurs, generate income, and drive sustainable growth of the grassroots economy. The OTOP Midyear 2026 event is being held from June 20-28 at Challenger Hall 1-3, IMPACT Muang Thong Thani, Nonthaburi Province.
