Hat yai: The Prime Minister’s schedule has been announced for a visit to the government and private sectors in Hat Yai. The visit aims to provide relief and rehabilitation for flood victims in the South. The Prime Minister, along with executives from government financial institutions, private sector, insurance companies, and the Director of the Budget Bureau, is set to visit Hat Yai District, Songkhla Province, tomorrow.
According to Thai News Agency, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul will lead the delegation on November 30, 2025, to address the needs of those affected by the floods. The visit is focused on providing relief, assistance, and rehabilitation efforts. The delegation aims to gather information to resolve public hardship and implement support measures that will help revitalize Hat Yai’s business and economic conditions, meeting community needs and promoting rapid recovery.
The delegation accompanying the Prime Minister includes several notable figures: Dr. Ekniti Nitithanpraphat, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance; Mr. Akhrut Sonthayanon, Director-General of the Treasury Department; Mr. Chuchat Pramuanphon, Secretary-General of the Office of Insurance Commission; Mr. Phayong Sriwanich, President of the Thai Bankers Association; Mr. Chatchai Sirilai, President of the Government Financial Institutions Association; and Ms. Laphawan Chankrachang, Acting Director of Government Savings Bank.
