According to Thai News Agency, reporters reported that from the case of the page “Ee So Khi Khao: Ee So” who posted a still image with a message saying “Latest picture, open every day, opposite Udon Physical Education College, there is a snooker table in front… Udon Thani”, which the picture shows people standing and watching something, while the comments posted another angle of the picture, the picture looks like gambling, with a message saying this afternoon’s picture… the bookie is a police officer’s wife.
Later, the patrol officers, the investigation unit of Udon Thani City Police Station, and the administrative officers went to inspect the location, located on the ring road in Ban Lueam Subdistrict, Mueang Udon Thani District, following the clues from the said page. Mr. Thitiwut identified himself as the owner and took the officers to inspect inside. They found 3 snooker tables, a total of 3 tables, and 2 VIP rooms, 1 table per room. When the officers inspected, they did not find anything unusual, but VIP room 2 was an empty room with no snooker tables at all. When asked, the owner said that the tables were being repaired to prepare for a competition. A thorough search did not find any gambling-related offenses. The snooker establishment had a valid business license. Initially, the officers warned and instructed the owner to take care of customers because they might secretly use the private, closed area to gamble.
Mr. Thitiwut, the owner of the establishment, said that from the clip that appeared, it is believed to be VIP Room 2, which probably belongs to the previous owner and is an old clip. The table in VIP Room 2 was moved out 2 months ago because the snooker table was damaged and not ready for use. Also, there was going to be a competition, so the table was taken out for repairs. However, the images that were released showed that there was gambling here. As the owner, he must take care of and make sure that this problem does not happen again for sure.
