Royal Thai Army Mobilizes Emergency Medical Services to Aid Hat Yai District

Hat yai: The Royal Thai Army has activated its Center for Emergency Medical Services to bolster support for patient transport and relief operations in Hat Yai District, Songkhla Province. This initiative aims to address the needs of the community and ensure efficient medical and logistical assistance.

According to Thai News Agency, the Emergency Operations Center has been deployed to facilitate various critical missions, including the transport of patients, delivery of essential relief supplies, and the employment of aerial sound equipment to assist the affected populations. The operation involves multiple units, such as the Army Aviation Center, represented by the Special Operations Aviation Battalion, the Anothai Army Aviation Unit, and the Thepsatri Force Aviation Operations Team, all working under the Army Aviation Command’s 4th Battalion and 4th Army Area.

On November 29, 2015, these units collectively provided aircraft to support the transportation of three patients requiring ventilators and the delivery of 1,610 relief items to those impacted by the disaster. The mission also included conducting patrols, engaging in public relations efforts with the Provincial Aviation Battalion, and facilitating the travel of the Prime Minister and his delegation.

The Royal Thai Army has committed to sustaining these operations from morning until evening to ensure continuous support for all missions in areas where communities are experiencing hardship. Army aircraft will be utilized throughout these efforts to maximize the reach and impact of the support provided.
