According to Thai News Agency, the atmosphere of the Senate meeting, session 7 of the second ordinary session of the year, was reported by journalists at 3:00 PM. Mr. Boonsong Noisophol, the Second Deputy Speaker of the Senate, presided over the proceedings. The session involved crucial legislative activities, including a vote on the draft of the Rajamangala University of Technology Act.
Once the vote was completed, a noticeable exodus occurred as most senators exited the meeting room. Subsequently, the Senate discussed forming a joint committee to review the draft Clean Air Management Act and appointed new members to the Committee on Information Technology, Communications, and Telecommunications to fill existing vacancies. The meeting was officially adjourned at 3:12 PM, right before the Election Commission's anticipated announcement regarding the Senate collusion case.
Interestingly, it was observed that some senators were already engaged in following the Election Commission's press conference online during the meeting. This occurred despite the fact that the Election Commission had not yet commenced the press conference.
