CEO from TISCO won the Best CEO Awards (SET) and CEO from BBIK won the Best CEO Awards (mai) and Young Rising Star CEO Awards, along with 30 listed companies as model organizations in sustainability in the SET Awards 2024. The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) together with Finance and Banking Magazine announced the SET Awards 2024. In the Business Excellence group, Mr. Sakchai Pichapat, Chief Executive Officer of TISCO Financial Group PCL (TISCO) received the Best CEO Awards of SET, while Mr. Patchara Arayakarnkul, Chief Executive Officer of Bluebik Group PCL (BBIK) received 2 major awards: the Best CEO Awards of mai and the Young Rising Star CEO Awards. Business Excellence Award Group: There were 5 companies that received the SET Awards of Honor: Kiatnakin Phatra Securities PCL (KKPS) received the award for securities companies providing services to institutional investors, Yuanta Securities (Thailand) PCL (YUANTA) received the award for securities companies providing services to individual investors, PTT Exploration and Production PCL (PTTEP) received the Investor Relations Awards and Innovative Company Awards, while PTT PCL (PTT) and SCG Packaging PCL (SCGP) received the SET Awards of Honor for Innovative Company Awards. The Sustainability Excellence Award Group is presented to 30 exemplary sustainability organizations. Of these, 6 companies have maintained their excellence for 3 consecutive years and received the Sustainability Awards of Honor: Amata Corporation Public Company Limited (AMATA), Bangchak Corporation Public Company Limited (BCP), Kasikornbank Public Company Limited (KBANK), PTT Public Company Limited (PTT), PTT Global Chemical Public Company Limited (PTTGC), and Siam Cement Public Company Limited (SCC). Mr. Asadej Kongsiri, Director and President of the Stock Exchange of Thailand, said that the Stock Exchange of Thailand would like to congratulate all companies that received the SET Awards in 2024, which demonstrate their potential and excellence in both business and sustainability, which ar e an important part of elevating the Thai capital market to sustainable growth. He also commended the winners of the Best CEO Awards for leading their organizations to move forward amidst the challenges of rapidly changing factors in the present day, to become role models for other companies in creating motivation, developing organizational quality, continuously innovating, creating good performance, and operating with responsibility for stakeholders, taking into account the environment, society, and corporate governance. Mr. Santi Viriyarungsri, Editor-in-Chief of Finance and Banking Journal, co-founder of the SET Awards, and one of the qualified committee members to consider and judge the SET Awards, said that the SET Awards are valuable awards given to companies that are outstanding and have excellence in various aspects. This year, there were more companies that received the SET Awards of Honor in many categories, demonstrating their commitment to maintaining standards of excellence in various aspects. I n addition, this year, there were 4 companies that received the Supply Chain Management Awards, which is a new award, reflecting the outstanding potential of listed companies in sustainable supply chain management. Which will have a positive effect on driving and developing the overall economic system of Thailand. For the panel of judges for the SET Awards 2024, they are Mr. Chaiwat Wibulswasdi, Mr. Seri Jintanaseree, Mr. Santi Viriyarungsarit, Mr. Yut Worachatthar, Ms. Phatariya Benjapolchai, Mr. Thiranan Srihong, Mr. Atsadet Kongsiri, Mr. Soraphol Tulyasathian, and the secretary of the panel, Mr. Amnuay Chiramahaphoka. The SET Awards this year are divided into 2 groups of awards: the Business Excellence group, consisting of 8 award categories. This year, a total of 27 companies received excellent awards, consisting of 15 SET-listed companies (including real estate investment trusts), 6 mai companies, 5 securities companies (including financial advisory firms), and 1 fund management company. In addition, t here are 5 companies that have maintained their excellence for 3 years or more and have received the SET Awards of Honor. And the award group Sustainability Excellence has received a total of 30 awards (of which 1 company received 2 awards). There are 6 listed companies that have maintained their excellence and received the Sustainability Awards of Honor, 4 companies received the Best Sustainability Awards, divided into Highly Commended Sustainability Awards for 10 companies and Commended Sustainability Awards for 7 companies.
