Bangkok: The Department of Employment in Thailand has announced an opportunity for Thai nationals to apply for 220 technician positions with four leading companies in Singapore. The recruitment drive offers salaries that can reach over 44,000 baht, and applications are open online until July 31, 2026, at no cost to the applicants.
According to Thai News Agency, Lieutenant Colonel Patthadarasmi Thongsalooykorn, Deputy Spokesperson for the Prime Minister's Office, stated that this initiative is part of the government's effort to provide stable employment opportunities for Thai workers abroad. The recruitment process ensures that selected workers will not incur any fees related to applications, processing, visas, work permits, health checks, or airfare, as these costs will be covered by the employers.
The available positions include roles such as production technicians, assistant engineers, production workers, technicians, and technical specialists. Salaries for these positions range from 24,142 to 44,472 baht, depending on the specific role and employer. Applicants must be aged between 20 and 45 years, possess at least a vocational certificate or high school diploma, be proficient in English, have no criminal record, and meet the qualifications set by employers.
Lieutenant Colonel Patthadarasmi emphasized the importance of utilizing this opportunity to enhance skills and secure income through overseas employment. He also warned against fraudulent individuals or groups who might solicit money by falsely promising employment opportunities.
