SIRIVANNAVARI Brand Unveils Ceremonial Attire for Thai Athletes at 2026 Asian Games

Bangkok: The ceremonial attire for Thai athletes at the 2026 Asian Games has been unveiled, designed by the SIRIVANNAVARI brand. According to Thai News Agency, the SIRIVANNAVARI brand has revealed its design for the ceremonial attire that Thai national athletes will wear at the opening ceremony of the 20th Asian Games 2026. This event is set to take place in Nagoya, Japan, from September 19 to October 4, 2026. Her Royal Highness Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana Rajakanya, who serves as the Creative Director of SIRIVANNAVARI, was invited by the Ministry of Tourism and Sports to design the attire. Her vision aims to showcase the potential of Thai fashion brands on the international stage.

At a press conference hosted in the ballroom of the Fairmont Sukhumvit 20 Hotel in Bangkok on August 21, 2026, the ceremonial attire was introduced through a video and photo campaign under the theme "The Art of Unity." This campaign highlights the power of unity through representatives of the Thai national athletes: View-Kulavut Vitidsarn, a male badminton player; Yu-Ballang Thabthimdaeng, a male taekwondo player; Beam-Pimphichaya Kokram, a female volleyball player; and Ying-Suthasinee Sawatbut, a female table tennis player. Additionally, Tennis-Panipak Wongpattanakit, a former female taekwondo athlete who has made history with the Thai national team, also participated in conveying the story and spirit of Thai athletes through the modernly designed attire in the SIRIVANNAVARI brand style.

The ceremonial attire for the 2026 Asian Games symbolizes Thai pride, emphasizing aesthetic form, material selection, and ease of wear for athletes. It incorporates cultural heritage, handicrafts, and local wisdom through a contemporary design perspective. Moreover, the attire reflects the close relationship between Thailand and Japan, the host country, through a fashion language that connects the identities of both cultures. It conveys values of unity, togetherness, and pride in being Thai. The Thai national team is set to compete gracefully and honorably on the Asian stage, with support for Thai athletes at the 2026 Asian Games encouraged from September 19 to October 4, 2026.
