Supamas, Minister attached to the Prime Minister's Office and Chairperson of the Safe and Creative Media Development Fund, emphasized the need to stop sharing content that could further traumatize victims.
According to Thai News Agency, Ms. Supamas instructed government communication agencies to manage information dissemination following the school incident that resulted in injuries and deaths. The tragedy has shocked the nation, with a large volume of unverified images and information circulating online, impacting the mental well-being of the bereaved families and creating societal confusion.
The government, led by Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul, extended condolences to the families of the deceased and injured, while instructing agencies to expedite care for those affected.
