According to Thai News Agency, the government, led by Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul, is prioritizing the enhancement of public health systems and the establishment of a knowledge-based economy. The government seeks to achieve this by fostering cooperation between the public and private sectors, as well as world-class industries, to position Thailand as a "Regional Hub for Biotechnology Innovation." Deputy Spokesperson for the Prime Minister's Office, Ms. Lalida Periswiwatana, disclosed that Mr. Phatthana Phromphat, Minister of Public Health, underscored the importance of collaboration between the government and the pharmaceutical industry during his keynote address at the extraordinary general meeting of the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers Association (PReMA).
