Thaksin Asserts Photographic Evidence of Drug Production Locations in Wa Red Region

Bangkok: Thaksin Shinawatra, the former Prime Minister, has responded to Wa Red's spokesperson by asserting that he possesses photographic evidence of drug production sites. He has challenged the Wa Red to put up a bounty, emphasizing that there should be no fear involved.

According to Thai News Agency, Thaksin addressed the situation after the Wa Red spokesperson denied involvement in drug activities and challenged him to present evidence. Thaksin claimed to have seen and documented the locations of drug production factories. He expressed intentions to collaborate with the Myanmar and Chinese governments for efforts to suppress drug activities in the Wa Red region. He further stated that if assistance is unavailable, they will manage the situation independently.

Thaksin was questioned about a previous incident where the Wa Reds allegedly placed a bounty of 80 million baht on his head. He dismissed any concerns, suggesting they could do so again if they wished, as he feels protected by Luang Pho Nang Wat Koi. He urged the Wa Red not to incite him, stating his desire for comfort and peace.
