Bangkok: The Crystal SB Ratchaphruek, an ALLY Group shopping center, is set to host the 'The Crystal SB Ratchapruek Kids Sports 2026' event from August 22-23, 2026. This initiative aims to promote a quality lifestyle by engaging families in sports activities that create a learning space for children and youth. The event will take place at the activity area on the 1st floor of the shopping center, providing a platform for young athletes to showcase their potential and enhance various skills through age-appropriate competitions. According to Thai News Agency, the event is organized under the theme "Knowing how to lose, knowing how to win, and knowing how to forgive." This concept is designed to instill essential values such as respect for rules, discipline, teamwork, and sportsmanship among children. These values are deemed critical for their overall well-being, both academically and in everyday life. Over the course of two days, participating children will engage in a variety of sporting activities, including a 30-meter sprint, 4x15-meter relay, Family Fun Run Challenge, long jump, basketball shooting, 3x3 Street Football, and cheerleading competitions. The competition has attracted over 25 public, private, and international kindergartens from Bangkok and nearby regions. Notable participants include Singapore International School Nonthaburi, St. Peter's School Thonburi, and Kasetsart University Demonstration School, Kamphaeng Saen Campus. The event underscores the importance of sports as a developmental tool for children in today's world. The Crystal SB Ratchaphruek has also partnered with Sri Sawan Ratchaphruek Hospital to ensure the safety of all participants. The hospital will provide a nursing team, first aid unit, emergency ambulance, and medical equipment throughout the event.
