Bangkok: People flocked to pay homage before the statue of Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha. Crowds gathered to honor the late Princess at Sahathai Samakhom Hall in the Grand Palace, where her portrait was displayed.
According to Thai News Agency, from approximately 6:00 AM, individuals from across the nation congregated around the screening points to offer their respects. The public has been allowed to pay respects and sign the book of condolences at Sahathai Samakhom Pavilion in the Grand Palace from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM, starting from Sunday, June 14th to Tuesday, June 16th, 2026. Many attendees brought photographs of Her Royal Highness to convey their condolences.
For those wishing to pay their respects, the Bangkok Mass Transit Authority (BMTA) has recommended convenient transportation options and is providing free shuttle bus services on six routes from Tha Phra Station, Sanam Chai, Victory Monument, Bangkok Central Station, Southern Bus Terminal, and Thewa Phirom Gate.
In addition to the transportation arrangements, volunteers, including citizens and celebrities, gathered at Sanam Luang to distribute food and drinks to those who came to the area to pay their respects.
