Hat yai: Volunteer actor Ple Nakorn, known for his dedication to flood relief efforts, found himself in a dire situation after his jet ski broke down while assisting in the evacuation of flood victims in Hat Yai. A team of 20 jet skis has been deployed to the area, and efforts are being made to accelerate food production, with June Kasama contributing 100,000 baht to produce 10,000 food boxes daily.
According to Thai News Agency, Ple Nakorn, who has been deeply involved in relief operations, became a victim himself when water entered his jet ski engine, causing it to stall. Stranded on his roof with other victims, Ple experienced firsthand the challenges faced by those in the flood-affected region. The incident marks the most severe flooding in 14 years, with many residents struggling to leave their homes.
On November 24, 2015, officials successfully rescued Ple Nakorn. While being transported out of the area by boat, Ple was moved by the cries for help from villagers trapped in nearby buildings. Overwhelmed by the situation, Ple expressed his frustration and helplessness, emphasizing the urgent need for more assistance to help those in distress.
