According to Thai News Agency, sources from the Bhumjaithai Party indicate that Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul, in his capacity as party leader, has instructed ministers, committee chairpersons, MPs, and other political officeholders to accelerate the implementation of assigned tasks and produce tangible results. Their performance will be evaluated within one year. If any individual fails to meet performance targets, there will be changes at the ministerial, committee chairperson, and other political positions to make opportunities for more capable and outstanding individuals to take their place. The party will not be bound by the previous quota allocation system.
This signal reflects Mr. Anutin's desire to improve the performance of his party's personnel and restore public trust after the party faced continuous political pressure in recent months. This includes attacks on various political issues and government projects such as the TH-AI Passport project, the Khao Kradong land dispute, and the handling of issues related to influential figures and foreign nominees in Phuket. Meanwhile, the Bhumjaithai Party's ministers, chairpersons of 14 parliamentary committees, and MPs have not yet demonstrated significant achievements, despite the government having been in power for over two months. This has led to criticism of the party and damaged its credibility.
