Police arrested a conscripted soldier who used a knife to slash his 29-year-old rival to death. He confessed that he had challenged the deceased's friends, but the deceased had never had any problems with him before. In the case of teenagers from Nong Wua Yai Village and Hong Kai Village, Nong Waeng Subdistrict, Lahan Sai District, Buriram Province, who attacked each other in the Nong Wua Yai Market area by using knives and guns to fight until Mr. Banharn, aged 29, was slashed in the face and died on October 21st. Today, Lahan Sai Police Station brought Mr. Worawut, 22 years old, a conscripted soldier at a military camp, in for questioning, along with a motorcycle that was hidden in the forest about 2 km from the scene of the incident. Initially, he confessed that on the day of the incident, there were about 10 of them, but he was not the one who cut them, and another friend was the one who cut them. He admitted that before this, his group and the deceased's group had challenged each other before, and that day, they were about to go home when a sedan drove up and threw a ping-pong bomb at them, after which there was a scuffle. He admitted that the deceased was not an enemy, but was in the group that had had a fight. The police have not yet filed charges and will have to arrest the teenagers and question them first.
