Brutal Attack: Man Stabs Victim to Death in Rented Room Before Throwing Explosive Device to Escape

Rayong: A gang of teenagers attacked a rented room, slashing a Cambodian man with a knife, nearly causing his intestines to spill out, before throwing a grenade to clear a path for their escape.

According to Thai News Agency, CCTV footage captured a shocking incident around 11 PM last night at a rented room in Nam Khu Soi 3, Mae Nam Khu Subdistrict, Pluak Daeng District, Rayong Province. While residents were chatting normally, a group of three teenagers on a motorcycle without license plates suddenly arrived, parked, and brutally attacked a Cambodian man with knives. They then threw a firecracker, creating a loud explosion, to clear a path for their escape, causing residents to flee in all directions.

Following the incident, rescue workers from Pluak Daeng and police from Pluak Daeng Police Station inspected the scene in front of the room. They found blood splattered all over the floor, along with fragments of black plastic from an explosive device and a knife sheath. Inside the room, they found a Cambodian man, approximately 20 years old, unconscious and covered in blood. He had a severe stab wound to the abdomen, nearly causing his intestines to protrude. Rescue workers immediately administered first aid and stopped the bleeding before transporting him to Pluak Daeng Hospital. Police are now reviewing CCTV footage to trace the escape route and apprehend the perpetrators.
