The temperature dropped to 3 degrees Celsius, making the top of Doi Inthanon, Chom Thong District, Chiang Mai Province, the highest point in the country, this morning (Dec. 19) only 5 degrees Celsius, and the temperature near the grass tops was close to touching the freezing point, or measurable. 0.3 degrees Celsius causes frost on the grass tops until they are completely white. Tourists excitedly took photos of the beautiful frost as souvenirs. This is the third time this winter has happened. The first time happened on 28 November. The second time happened on 16 October. And this is the 3rd time.
As for the Kiew Mae Pan viewpoint, kilometer 42, tourists go up to experience the cold weather from early morning. The temperature this morning was 7 degrees Celsius until the parking lot was full.
