EXAT Launches Rescue Training Center to Enhance Safety Standards

Bangkok: The Expressway Authority of Thailand (EXAT) launched a new service, the EXAT Rescue Training Center, as part of its product and service project for related businesses, focusing on rescue and safety training.

According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Surachet Laopulsuk, Governor of the Expressway Authority of Thailand, led the launch ceremony under the theme "READY BEFORE THE EMERGENCY." The event was attended by EXAT executives and business partners at the Chalong Ratch Expressway Control Center. EXAT has a history of ensuring safety on the expressway network and responding to emergencies such as serious accidents, vehicle fires, and chemical spills. This expertise has been used to develop a "Real Training, Real Practice" curriculum aimed at enhancing rescue readiness and safety for government agencies, private sector organizations, and the public. The curriculum includes courses in basic firefighting, evacuation drills, and other safety courses, aiming to raise national rescue and safety standards.

The EXAT Rescue Training Center integrates legal standards with practical training through simulated real-life scenarios. Exercises include fire extinguishing, evacuation drills, first aid, CPR, and the use of personal protective equipment, ensuring trainees can effectively respond to emergencies. The courses are led by licensed instructors and rescue personnel from EXAT, with valid licenses from the Department of Labour Protection and Welfare and experience in real-world rescue and emergency response missions.
