F-16 Fighter Jets Bombard Cambodian Casino to Defend Thai Sovereignty

Pursat: F-16 fighter jets attacked a Cambodian military base, bombarding the “Thmoda Casino” after discovering that Cambodians were using the location as a gathering point to retaliate against Thailand. The strikes targeted casinos and military bases located in the Thomoda Subdistrict, Vieng Vel District, Pursat Province. The Thomoda City casino was identified as a structure built by Cambodia on Thai territory, despite repeated notifications from Thailand to demolish it.

According to Thai News Agency, following the latest incident on December 8th, the Thai Border Patrol Police (BPP) of Chanthaburi and Trat, along with the Royal Thai Navy, initiated Operation “Trat Suppresses the Enemy.” This was a coordinated offensive involving land, sea, and air operations aimed at defending Thai sovereignty. The Royal Thai Air Force had previously deployed F-16 fighter jets to bomb and destroy Thomda City on December 11th, with reports indicating that Cambodian troops were using the area as a strategic hiding place to retaliate against Thai forces.
