Bangkok: ISOC and the public visited the area where the road collapsed in front of Vajira Hospital and provided support to staff and residents in the nearby area.
According to Thai News Agency, at 2:30 PM on September 27, 2025, the Internal Security Operations Command (ISOC), led by Maj. Gen. Thanathip Sawangsaeng, Deputy Director of the ISOC Public Relations Office, in collaboration with the mass network of the ISOC Executive Security Network Relations Development Course Club (ISOC POC) and the Thai Volunteer Defense Corps (TVDC), visited the disaster area affected by the road collapse in front of Vajira Hospital in Dusit District, Bangkok. They provided support items, including energy drinks, drinking water, electrolyte drinks, food, and cold towels to officials working in the area and residents living in the vicinity.
Mr. Thianchai Wongsuwan, Director of Dusit District, Mr. Asa Sukkhang, Director of the Water Control System Office, Drainage Department, and the Director of Vajira Hospital, jointly received the donation, which will be forwarded to the operating staff.
Maj. Gen. Thanathip stated that ISOC, located near the scene of the incident, is concerned about the officers who are continuously working to resolve the issue caused by the road subsidence. They are also facilitating traffic flow and caring for the surrounding area’s residents, ensuring their lives are safe and secure. Lieutenant General Chaiyaphruek Duangpraphat, Deputy Secretary-General of ISOC, has assigned Maj. Gen. Thanathip Sawangsaeng, Deputy Director of the ISOC’s Public Affairs and Information Office, to lead a network of supporters to the area, deliver supplies, and encourage officers from all sectors who are closely and continuously working to resolve the issue.
Maj. Gen. Thanathip added that ISOC will closely monitor the situation and is ready to integrate with relevant agencies and public networks to provide assistance and support officials in the area and continuously alleviate public suffering.
