Bangkok: The first half of the “Kon La Khrueng Plus” program has witnessed significant spending, with over 29.6 billion baht expended in just 13 days. The Ministry of Finance is urging 300,000 individuals to utilize their rights before the opportunity lapses.
According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Winij Wisetsuvarnabhumi, Director-General of the Fiscal Policy Office and spokesperson for the Ministry of Finance, provided an update on the Half-Half Plus program as of 11:00 PM on November 10, 2025. He revealed that more than 19 million participants have used the program, with total spending from both regular stores and food delivery platforms reaching 29.683 billion baht. Of this amount, 15.036 billion baht was spent by the public, while the government contributed 14.6485 billion baht.
Participants can continue to use their G-Wallet privileges in the “Paotang” app at participating merchants until December 31, 2025, between 6:00 AM and 11:00 PM, without the necessity to spend the full 200 baht daily limit. Currently, over 893,196 merchants are registered with the program.
The Ministry of Finance has issued a warning to over 300,000 eligible individuals who have not yet engaged with the program. They must begin their spending by November 11, 2025, or risk losing their eligibility. Transactions must be conducted face-to-face via QR code for services such as massage parlors, spas, nail salons, hair salons, and public transportation. The program excludes purchases of lottery tickets, alcohol, tobacco, or cash cards, and its food delivery platform is not included.
Massage and spa operators are required to ensure that their name and location in the “Tung Ngern” app align with their health establishment license to facilitate verification and approval.
