Nakhon Si Thammarat: Mr. Chaichana Dechacho, a Member of Parliament from Nakhon Si Thammarat representing the Democrat Party, has refuted allegations that he was involved in leading an attack on a contractor during an ordination ceremony. The incident in question reportedly took place during the ordination of the son of the mayor of a sub-district administrative organization in front of numerous villagers.
According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Chaichana expressed his unawareness of the news and firmly denied any involvement in the purported attack. He emphasized to the reporters that he had no knowledge of such an event and advised them to seek clarification from the original source of the news.
When questioned about his relationship with the alleged group or if he had any acquaintances involved, Mr. Chaichana reiterated his lack of awareness, stating he had not heard any related news. He maintained that further inquiries should be directed to the source of the report.
In response to a question about the veracity of the news, Mr. Chaichana confidently affirmed that the allegations were untrue. He also noted that he frequently attends multiple events in a day, suggesting his presence in the area was unrelated to any misconduct.
Finally, when asked directly if there had been any altercation as reported, Mr. Chaichana assuredly stated that no such incident had occurred.
