According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Arsit Sampanrat, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Interior, revealed that the Organizing Committee for the Celebrations on the Auspicious Occasion of Her Majesty the Queen's 4th Cycle Birthday Anniversary on June 3, 2026, has approved the organization of the celebrations in Bangkok, the provinces, and abroad. The Ministry of Interior has been assigned to coordinate the organization of activities in the provinces.
The Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Interior stated that, in order to ensure the smooth and dignified organization of the celebrations commemorating this occasion, the Ministry of Interior has informed provinces, districts, and coordinated with local administrative organizations to invite all sectors in the area to participate in celebratory activities. Agencies may consider organizing appropriate activities between March 1, 2026, and December 31, 2026.
Regarding the celebratory activities in the provinces during June 2026, conducted from June 1st to 30th, 2026, these include setting up altars with portraits of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit and royal offerings in provincial buildings, and decorating provincial buildings with portraits of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Thai national flag, flags bearing the royal monogram "S.T.", and white drapery, as well as illuminating office buildings with lights. The official ceremony will be held on Wednesday, June 3rd, 2026, at the provincial hall or a suitable location. Presided over by the Provincial Governor, the ceremonies include a Buddhist chanting ceremony and alms giving at 7:00 AM, a ceremony of offering royal tributes and laying floral wreaths at 5:30 PM, and a ceremony of lighting candles to offer blessings at 7:29 PM.
In terms of public participation, a message of well wishes to Her Majesty the Queen has been prepared and images of her royal activities have been disseminated on the provincial website and online media from June 1st to 15th, 2026.
