No Thais Reported Dead or Injured in Nepal Floods, Ministry Says

Bangkok: No Thai nationals have been reported injured or killed following severe flooding and landslides in Nepal, Thailand's Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on Thursday.

According to Thai News Agency, ministry spokesperson Jaithai Upakarnitikaset stated that the Royal Thai Embassy in Kathmandu has reported significant damage to infrastructure along the Bhote Koshi River. The disaster has resulted in at least 95 fatalities and more than 600 individuals, including Nepalese citizens and foreign nationals, remain missing.

The embassy and the ministry are actively monitoring the ongoing situation. Thai nationals impacted by the floods or in need of assistance are encouraged to contact the embassy through a 24-hour emergency hotline.
