Bangkok: "Pakorn" revealed this afternoon that the results of the first phase of the investigation into corruption in the local government exams will be finalized. He declined to disclose details for fear of jeopardizing the event.
According to Thai News Agency, Deputy Prime Minister Pakorn Nilapraphan addressed the media today at Government House regarding the ongoing investigation into alleged corruption in the 2025 civil servant and local government employee recruitment examination. He informed that the Commissioner General of the Royal Thai Police is set to chair a pivotal meeting, where the Secretary-General of the Public Sector Anti-Corruption Commission (PACC) will present preliminary findings. These findings are expected to highlight any detected irregularities or concerns, which will subsequently be reported to the Prime Minister.
Despite the anticipation surrounding the investigation, Deputy Prime Minister Pakorn admitted to not having reviewed the report yet. He emphasized his reluctance to discuss specific details at this juncture to avoid compromising the integrity of the investigation process.
