A low-pressure cell near the coast of central Vietnam and westerly and northeasterly winds in the lower Central and Eastern regions will cause thunderstorms and heavy rain in some areas of the upper part of Thailand. Additionally, westerly and northwesterly winds over the Andaman Sea, the South, and the Gulf of Thailand are expected to result in heavy rain in some southern areas. Residents are advised to take precautions for their health and to be w ary of potential dangers from heavy rain. The Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand will experience moderate waves, with heights around 1 meter, and higher in areas with thunderstorms, reaching over 2 meters. Sailors are advised to exercise caution and avoid areas with thunderstorms. Furthermore, during November 2-5, a moderate to strong high-pressure area from China will extend over the upper part of Thailand, the upper southern region, and the South China Sea, causing initial thunderstorms and strong winds. This will be followed by a temperature drop, with cool conditions and strong winds. Temperatures in the northern and northeastern regions will decrease by 2-4 degrees Celsius, while the central region, including Bangkok and its vicinity, the eastern region, and the upper southern region will see a decrease of 1-3 degrees Celsius. The monsoon trough passing through the central southern region is expected to bring heavy to very heavy rain in some southern areas. The regional weather forecast for October 31, 2024, indicates varying weather conditions across Thailand. Bangkok and surrounding areas will see thunderstorms in 30% of the area with temperatures ranging from 24-25 degrees Celsius at night to 33-35 degrees Celsius during the day. The northern region will experience cool morning weather with a 10% chance of rain, while the northeastern region will see similar cool mornings with thunderstorms in 10% of the area. The central and eastern regions will have thunderstorms in 20-30% of their areas, with some heavy rain expected. The southern regions, both east and west coasts, will have thunderstorms in 40% of the areas, with heavy rain in certain provinces.
