Bhumjaithai Party Yet to Signal Cabinet Reshuffle Amid Exam Cheating Probe

Bangkok: Yotsanu Wongsawat, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, addressed ongoing concerns regarding a potential cabinet reshuffle within the Bhumjaithai Party. Despite recent discussions about performance-based evaluations of ministers, Yotsanu revealed that the party has not yet signaled any changes in the cabinet.

According to Thai News Agency, Yotsanu also commented on the investigation into cheating on local government exams. The investigation was initiated following a request from Srinakharinwirot University to compare original answer sheets with digital files. Yotsanu emphasized that he would wait for all parties involved to clarify the situation before making any further comments.

In addition to the exam investigation, Yotsanu addressed queries about a possible reshuffle within the Pheu Thai Party. He stated that no signs of such a reshuffle have emerged. He plans to discuss key performance indicators with Pheu Thai ministers first, aligning with Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul's focus on performance-based evaluations. Despite these discussions, Yotsanu reiterated that there have been no indications of a cabinet reshuffle from the Bhumjaithai Party.
