The former Prime Minister arrived at approximately 10:00 AM, expressing a cheerful demeanor. This marks his first vote since returning to Thailand after years in exile following a coup in 2006. Thaksin's last participation in a Thai election was in April 2006. At the polling station, Mr. Thaksin went through the standard voting process. He joined the queue to verify his registration before receiving two ballots. He humorously remarked to officials about his unfamiliarity with the process after so many years.
